Contemporary issues and local people are the focus of Caroline's Man, a light drama running in Reps' Theatre Upstairs from March 1 to 5.
The play has been written by a Harare woman, Mary Leared, who has also directed it in her debut directorial role at Reps. In it she looks at issues well-known to Zimbabweans and includes character types typical of the local scene.
Cast members include a number of newcomers to the Theatre Upstairs stage, as well as some long-serving Reps regulars, including Moira Kennedy, Lindsay McCosh, Kim Douie, Jonathan Hall, Mike Southall, Shane Stockil, Jim Hill, Rhoda Fryer and Joe Levey.
Caroline's Man opens on Tuesday March 1 and runs until Saturday March 5, with performances each evening at 7pm and an additional matinee at 2.30pm on Saturday. Advance booking is now open at The Spotlight.
