Auditions for a planned new musical comedy at Reps Theatre are being held on the coming two Sundays, aimed at finding a cast that includes a good selection and variety of performers.
The show is called Sister Action and is based loosely on the hit Whoopi Goldberg film Sister Act. It will be directed by Debbie Fleming and will run on Reps Theatre's main stage in August. Among the cast being sought are males and females aged between 25 and 60, including a number of suitable nuns, as well as other singers who can also act. One person is needed for a female part requiring singing and playing a piano. Dancers are not required.
Auditions will take place at 10am on Sunday May 14 and Sunday May 21 at Reps Theatre and more information can be obtained from the theatre office.
