Live Vibe
The British Council presents Live Vibe, an exciting hip hop show directed by top UK choreographer Hakeem Onibudo.
Performances at 2.30pm and 7pm Sat Feb 11 only.
Shout!
Two dozen hit songs from the period 1964 to 1984 feature in the colourful and exciting singing and dance show, running at Reps from February 15 to March 3. A follow-up to Those Were The Days, Top Of The Pops, Seasons In The Sun and Dream Lover, this show is directed by Stan Higgins and features more than 20 great singers and a dozen of Harare’s finest dancers. Musical direction by Iona Jones and choreography by June Cloete. It’s a great show for all ages and a showplace for some of Harare’s brightest performers. Book now to ensure the best seats on the best dates … and if you would like to take up a gala show to raise funds, contact the Reps office on how to do so. Booking now open at The Spotlight.
2011 Reps Afdis Awards
African Distillers has very generously once again agreed to sponsor the annual Repertory Players awards event, and the ceremony and show will be held on the Main Stage at 7pm on Saturday March 10.
As always, all members and supporters are invited to attend (more information and reminders closer to the time). The judges panel has made its deliberations and has announced nominees for the various awards for 2011.

You can get a team together, or just come along and join up with a team : we’re all a very friendly bunch of people, so don’t be shy ! Help Reps do its thing for another 80 years!
You can help Reps Theatre remain an essential part of the community in Harare by taking part in the Debentures Issue now on offer to members of The Repertory Players and to the general public!
It’s quite simple:
- One Debenture is $25 and you can take up as many as you like
- Payment back will be on or before December 31 2016 with one percent interest per annum
- There are no restrictions on age, income or other factor and you don’t have to be a Reps member
- A Debenture Certificate is issued to cover your payment
Money raised by this Debentures Issue will be used for current and developmental expenditure and to help Reps Theatre remain a key player in the local arts and entertainment scene.
Call Philippa or Lucy at Reps on 335850 or call in at the Reps office to find out more or to arrange to come in and take part in this Issue, which runs until March 31, 2012.

Appeal for chairs
Dear Members and Friends
Reps is in need of some more chairs for the Committee Room, Rehearsal Rooms and Dressing Rooms as we are continually "Robbing Peter to pay Paul". Do you have one or two (or more) of any kind of chair – except lounge suite type – that you would like to donate to us?
If you have, please feel free to drop them into the office at any time – or let us know if you would like us to collect. Any donations would be gratefully accepted.
